What happens when you unite an artist with a stone?

Marg Gurr is largely a self-taught stone carver and sculptor working out of her Stone Song Studio in Moonstone, Ontario.
She works with a variety of stone such as; limestone, alabaster, serpentine, soapstone and most recently jade.
She also enjoys the occasional foray into metal and wood with particular interest in the Steampunk genre. Her creative roots included piano, violin, guitar and vocal music, as well as pottery, painting and mixed media sculpture.
