Catherine Taylor-Sim's artistic style combines realist elements with abstract thought. Her creative energies manifest vibrant and harmoniously flowing paintings.
From an early age her artistic talent was evident. With encouragement from family and friends Catherine attended Georgian College to study Fine Arts.
After graduation she began her artistic career with PetPrints, creating pet portraits in pastel and pencil. Years later, she returned to her art roots and ventured out into more artistic styles and mediums.
Catherine is an enthusiastic member of the Orillia Fine Arts Association(OFAA) and the Ontario Plein Air Society, discovering the joy that is Plein Air in the spring of 2014.
Catherine regularly shows with the Orillia Fine Arts Association and in various group exhibits in Ontario.
Her work can be found in private collections throughout the US, England, the Netherlands and both East and West coasts of Canada.
